The Boss Gets Stronger
Made in 1 hour for a 1 hour game jam. The them was getting stronger. Something, infact, DOES get stronger. Its not you :)
Boss gets stronger over time with no bound (I capped the wave you can input at 99,999, but trust me, even wave 100 probably isn't humanly possible, and I can barely hold my weight on wave 25). Health increases polynomially and all other things roughly get harder by the square root of the wave. This means that the jump from wave 9-25 is about the jump from wave 25-36, is the same from 36-47 etc. ROUGHLY. Some things get harder or faster at slightly different rates, but all the math has a "sqrt(wave#)" in there. Made in Turbowarp (scratch offschuit) I put almost all the time into just making the game as fun as possible. There's sadly no time for sound or good graphics. Background is stolen from a Minecraft texture pack (Faithful 64x64)
CONTROLS:
Movement: [WASD]
Dash: [Shift]
Punch: [Shift] Deals more damage depending on speed, can deflect bullets. Min 1dmg
Shoot A: [RMB] Hold to charge (longer=more damage), shoots one bullet. Min 1.5dmg
Shoot B: [LMB] Effectively a shotgun, shoots 16 1DMG pellets.
Zoom In: [+]
